The Dzawadanuxw Economic Development Corporation is committed to creating sustainable businesses that generate long-term employment, strengthen community resilience and support economic self-determination for the Musgamakw Dzawadanuxw people.
BlueOcean Consulting has worked alongside DEDC since 2019, providing strategic advisory services to identify, evaluate and advance community-owned business opportunities that align with the Nation's long-term vision. This ongoing partnership has included business planning for the acquisition of Echo Bay Marina, development of a community-owned water transportation service, and the preparation of feasibility studies and comprehensive business plans for a community grocery store and café in Kingcome.
Our work continues to support DEDC in building sustainable enterprises that improve essential services, create meaningful employment and strengthen the local economy while reflecting the Nation’s values and priorities.
