Wahous Wilderness Lodge

An Indigenous-owned floating wilderness lodge in Quait Bay, Clayoquot Sound, anchored in Ahousaht culture, hospitality and stewardship.

Located in the heart of Ahousaht hahuluubii (territory) in Clayoquot Sound, Wahous Wilderness Lodge is an Indigenous-owned wilderness destination where hospitality, culture and stewardship come together to create an immersive guest experience. More than a luxury lodge, Wahous invites visitors to connect with the land through Ahousaht traditions, stories and values while experiencing one of British Columbia's most remarkable coastal landscapes.

The property features a floating lodge with 16 waterfront guest rooms, four secluded cabins, a cedar longhouse, shoreline spa, guided cultural and wilderness experiences, and exceptional wildlife viewing. Every aspect of the guest experience is designed to foster connection with place while supporting cultural preservation, environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism.

BlueOcean Consulting has supported MHEI throughout the acquisition, valuation, business planning, capital planning, strategic partnerships and implementation of this transformative Indigenous tourism initiative.
