Maaqutusiis Hahoulthee Enterprise Inc. (MHEI) is the economic development corporation of the Ahousaht Nation, dedicated to creating sustainable businesses that strengthen economic self-determination, stewardship and long-term community wellbeing. Guided by Ahousaht values, MHEI is building an integrated portfolio of enterprises that create meaningful employment while celebrating culture and caring for the Nation's lands and waters.
BlueOcean Consulting has worked alongside MHEI since 2022, providing strategic advisory services to support the acquisition, development and growth of Nation-owned tourism and stewardship enterprises. This partnership has included valuation and acquisition advisory, business planning, capital project planning, strategic partnerships and implementation support for Wahous Wilderness Lodge and Ahous Adventures, together with ongoing advice on tourism development and long-term business strategy.
